Mukuni Village: These daily tours are of Mukuni Village, home to the Leya people. You have the opportunity to learn more about this interesting culture whilst being shown around the village homes and Chief Mukuni’s Palace, as well as having the opportunity to try out their traditional food and beer. This is a real village with a population of 5 000.
Simonga Village: These daily tours are of Simonga Village, home to approximately 3 000 inhabitants – a mixture of the Lozi and Tonga tribes. The village was founded in 1958 and is situated approximately 20 kilometres from Livingstone Town, along the Kazungula/Sesheke road, which runs parallel to the Zambezi River as it flows down towards the Victoria Falls. This village is quite unique as it one of only three in the entire country of Zambia that is ruled by a Headwoman, Inonge Imusho Samachila, who was chosen by the Royal Family to rule in 1970, following the death of her father, Imusho Samachila. Upon arrival, you are escorted through the village by a local resident, where you are introduced to the daily activities of an African
village.
David Livingstone Museum: For the late Victorians, Dr David Livingstone (1813-1873) was one of the great heroes of their era. The "greatest
man of his generation", Florence Nightingale called him. He was a household name, recognized as a courageous explorer of Africa, a tireless missionary and a champion of the fight against slavery. The Livingstone Museum is one of a kind in this area. It contains the most comprehensive memorabilia of Dr David Livingstone, including authentic maps and diaries, and covers the history of the region from the formation right up to the present day. The Museum also contains Anthropological, Natural History and African Culture sections.
Dambwa Market: The Dambwa market offers a local flavour and insight as to how a lot of the local people of today buy and sell goods such as traditional foodstuffs, basic house wares and fabrics or even livestock. The tour lasts around 2 ½ hours and may be booked in the morning or afternoon. These tours may be combined with other historical or cultural tours to make a full morning or day out with a very good lunch. Departure from the Livingstone Day Activity Centre is at your convenience but pick up is usually at 08h00 or 13h.00. Dambwa Market Tours include the services of a qualified guide.

Sun downer Cruise African Queen or African Princess: You are met by staff from the cruise boat and driven to the 'Royal Landing' jetty on the Zambezi River for boarding. The boat meanders slowly upstream along the length of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park looking for game on the way. A number of animals and a host of bird species can be viewed from comfortable chairs on cool wooden decks. Excellent food is served on board and the bar is well stocked with spirits, good wines, beers and soft drinks. Transfers to the jetty are from the Day Activity Centre.
Sun downer Cruise Lady Livingstone: The Lady Livingstone is a new boat, constructed to run in conjunction with the newly built David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa. She is moored on a private jetty off to one side of the hotel. The cruise takes place along the river boundary of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, total cruise time is approximately 2 hours. During the cruise, you are likely to see hippos, crocodile and some good birdlife. Possible other game sightings are elephant, giraffe, buffalo and antelope. An experienced guide accompanies each cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area. The Sunset Cruise includes freshly baked snacks and a fully stocked bar included in the price of the cruise.
Victoria Falls River Safaris: Victoria Falls River Safaris offers you an excellent, personalized and environmentally friendly upper river safari experience. The specifically designed propeller-free safari boats have the unique ability of crossing the numerous rapids along the upper Zambezi River comfortably. Due to the fact that there is no external propeller, these boats can operate in water as shallow as 20cm. As a result, the operational range is substantially greater than any other powerboat service, extending from as close as 200 metres from the Victoria Falls to beyond the upper river lodges. The Jet Boat Extreme tour starts at the Day Activity Centre and you are transferred by specially adapted Land-Rover vehicles (approximately 1 hour) to
your entry point at the gorge. You meander down the gorge approximately 880 feet in a scenic cable car lift, where you meet your jet boat pilot for a briefing. Water and soft drinks are available. One of the most thrilling 30 minutes of your life is about to begin. After the ride, you no longer have to walk the 880 feet out of the gorge as you now board the cable car for the 8 minute ride out. Ice-cold beer and soft drinks await you at the top after which you are transferred back to the Day Activity Centre. The two departure times are 07h30 in the morning and you will be back at the hotel by 12h00; and 12h30 in the afternoon, with a return to the hotel 16h00.
Helicopter Gorge Life out Rapid 21 including Flight over the Falls - Ride the rapids in a jet boat then, instead of being lifted out of the gorge in the cable car, take a helicopter and complete an action packed day by flying up the river skimming the water under the shadows of the cliffs, rising out of the gorge for a quick look at the Falls before landing. There are two departures a day and they include beer and cool drinks after the boat ride. Pick
up is at the Day Activity Centre at 07h30 or 12h30 with a half an hour drive to the edge of the gorge.

Game Drive – the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park encompasses the Victoria Falls and stretches some 12 kilometres along the riverbanks of the upper Zambezi River. White rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and several antelope species flourish here. Elephant also often visit the park swimming back and forth across the River. Game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles with a knowledgeable guide set off in the morning and afternoon from the Day Activity Centre and last about 3 hours. The early morning drive begins at 06h30 and the mid-morning drive begins at 09h45. The game drives include park
entrance fees, tea, coffee and pastries. The afternoon game drive begins at 15h00 and includes park entrance fees, soft drinks, beer and pastries.
Rhino Walk - these walks take place in either the morning or the afternoon. You are accompanied by a guide and an armed scout into the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park where they have the chance to walk with 5 White Rhino. These animals are highly endangered and it is a rare chance to get up close and personal to these magnificent creatures. After being with the Rhino for about 2 hours you enjoy sandwiches and cakes before transfers back to their hotels and lodges.
Birds of the Zambezi Walk - You are met by your guide who explains the area and safety precautions before proceeding on the walk where you will learn about the bird species they see and learn about many of the nesting and feeding habits of the birds of the area. Water and soft drinks are supplied. This activity moves to different areas depending on the seasonal movement of the birdlife.
