On Zimbabwe’s side of the Falls, perched 120 metres above the rapids of the Batoka Gorge and just downriver of the Victoria Falls Bridge, is the newly opened The Lookout Café. Operated by Wild Horizons, the Café is adjacent to its high-wire facility, where it offers adrenalin-fuelled activities such as the Gorge Swing, Flying Fox and the Vic Falls Canopy Tour. During full moon, the Café offers special dinners, where guests can enjoy views of the Falls and the bridge, lit by the light of the moon. It can accommodate groups of up to 60 guests and the list of Full Moon Dinner dates can be viewed on its website.

The Lookout Café is perched 120m above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River, overhanging a giant chasm of the Batoka Gorge, just downriver of the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge, which forms part of it’s spectacular backdrop.

The semi open-air café, apart from offering undoubtedly the best view in Victoria Falls, offers a range of refreshing beverages as well as a lively cocktail menu.

The location of the café is at the current Wild Horizons high-wire facility, “The Lookout”, where the famed high-wire attractions such as the Gorge Swing, Flying Fox, and Vic Falls Canopy Tour are operated from.
The Lookout Café is the ideal spot for lunches in combination with a tour of the Falls or a high wire activity.

Individual as well as groups of up to 60 pax are welcomed with prior reservation, and Wild Horizons looks forward to welcoming you to this completely new and uniquely positioned dining experience!

**Tip: Combine lunch at the Lookout Café with a Tour of The Falls or a Vic Falls Canopy Tour

White Water Rafting update

14/9/2015

The Zambezi one-day low water trip is considered to be the best one-day white water experience available in the world. This will be one of those days that you will remember for the rest of your life. The intensity of rafting varies due to the fluctuating levels of water plunging through the gorges. On the whole, lower water levels means higher thrill levels and more rapids. As the water levels drop, so the river follows the contours of the river bed more closely and the white water starts to really boil and crash through the gorge. Low water is generally from about August through to late December. However Rafting these grade of rapids at any time of the year is a thrilling experience and definitely not to be missed. It's can also be a physically taxing activity so ensure you are prepared by eating before hand and taking the long walk out at the end slowly; take as many breaks as you need.

'White Water Madness' - Insanely Low Price- A full day of White Water Rafting US$120 p/p
*Excludes river usage fees of US$10 p/p. Contact us for details
